Job Overview: The Vice President of Finance is a critical leadership role within our client's organization, responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategic direction of the company's division focused on designing, manufacturing, installing, and supporting networks for customers worldwide. This role requires a hands-on leader who can analyze financial data, provide actionable insights, and guide the business towards achieving its financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and business partnership within the division.
  • Analyze financial statements and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business performance and profitability.
  • Communicate transparently with the business team about financial issues and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive investment and strategic direction.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Support decision-making with accurate financial analysis and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Requirements include:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
  • Extensive experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Proven track record of business partnership and driving financial performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and transparency in financial reporting.
Certifications:
  • CPA is not required but is a plus.
Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the cable and productivity segment is beneficial.
