THE OPPORTUNITY
The Director of Sales Planning & Analysis acts as a primary point of contact for all forecasting, financial planning, and analysis of gaming products, while supporting long-term strategic planning efforts. You will work closely with product and cost center owners to ensure accurate and effective financial management across the entire portfolio, while also guiding the strategic direction of digital games in collaboration with leadership teams. This role is ideal for a finance leader with deep experience in managing high-revenue digital portfolios and aligning financial strategy with broader business objectives. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-growing digital gaming environment, driving financial and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market and trend analyses—including pricing, SKU assortments, hardware/software trends, genre insights, wishlist data, and emerging sales opportunities—to provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for pricing strategies, digital commerce (e.g., discount cadence, frequency, lift analysis), and paid media utilization to optimize revenue and enhance market presence.
- Lead all forecasting and long-range planning (LRP) efforts for our existing and future portfolio of titles.
- Serve as the key financial liaison for the Publishing team.
- Guide strategic direction for the Publishing division by aligning decision-making, goal-setting, and actions with long-term financial objectives.
- Supervise the creation of financial presentations for both internal and external stakeholders, including presentations to corporate leadership, board members, and other third parties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and management, within the gaming industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Strong expertise in financial and statistical modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for high-revenue product lines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic financial initiatives, particularly related to games or similar revenue-generating portfolios.
- Experience in managing P&Ls, cost allocations, and capital expenditure planning.
- Strong understanding of the gaming market and emerging trends in the space.
- Superior communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making.
