Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Address guest inquiries, provide information about menu items, and accommodate special requests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues or concerns.
- Event Setup and Breakdown:
- Assist in the setup and arrangement of catering events, including table settings, decorations, and buffet displays.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Efficiently breakdown and clean up after events, ensuring the venue is left in pristine condition.
- Service Coordination:
- Work closely with catering managers to execute event plans and timelines.
- Ensure that food and beverage service aligns with event schedules and client expectations.
- Coordinate with kitchen and support staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor food and beverage presentation for adherence to quality standards.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the front of house area.
- Perform regular checks to ensure all equipment is in working order.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to deliver a cohesive catering experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or adjustments during events.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service or catering role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
