Description
As the Financial Analyst, this position is responsible for tracking various company financial and non-financial performance metrics, analyzing business performance and market conditions, and assisting senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing data backed reports. The position reports to the Controller and represents an opportunity to grow a career with future advancement opportunities in the areas of finance, business management and operations.
Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. These essential duties include:
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
  • Produce daily and monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
  • Identify system design alternatives and identify potential improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Engage with the sales team to deliver profitability analysis and pricing guidance.
  • Produce and maintain internal costing rates for profit analysis.
  • Work cross-functionally with company executives to inform, set, and drive company strategic goals through data and insights.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring financial budgets.
  • Improve tools and reports to aid in the strategic decision-making processes.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Accounting or Business Management preferred.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in financial analysis or similar field in a corporate setting.
  • Ability to perform advanced statistical analysis and mixed-method data collection and analysis.
  • Must have a strong work ethic; do what is required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Competency in the following computer programs: Advanced MS Excel knowledge including use of macros, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, Word, Outlook.
