Are you an orthopedic physical therapist who believes that quality patient care  and positive patient experience  come first?

Are you tired of taking notes home and optimizing your treatments for ‘billable units’ and looking for a team to join that actually puts their patients’ goals and satisfaction first?

We have a position for you.

About Us:

The Doctors of Physical Therapy was started in 2016. Two years after graduating from the University of Southern California the owner, Tom Padilla, found himself unsatisfied with the status quo of care. He had experience working in both PPO and HMO clinics where the patients’ treatment plans were dictated by what their insurance would cover.

Moving to Arizona from California to start the clinic had its challenges, and although it wasn’t the original plan, constraints placed on the practice at the beginning caused it to shift to a direct-pay model. At the time it wasn’t very common and it was difficult, but the hardships were off-set by the difference it made in how well patients could be taken care of. The results spoke for themselves and the practice grew significantly.

The practice has boomed over the past few years and is one of the largest of its’ kind in the country. We have 5 providers from different backgrounds working together to get patients back to doing what they love. We have solved one of the biggest choke points in the direct-pay physical therapy industry, and that is establishing a consistent patient experience, where no matter what provider a patient sees, they are getting a consistent, very high level of care.

By combining physical therapy, massage therapy, and regenerative medicine we offer comprehensive care that focuses on maximizing mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing performance without the need for invasive procedures or medication. Our next step in addition to growing the clinical team, is to add group training services, so we can help our patients fully complete their transitions back to highly active lifestyles.
