Job title: Lab TechnicianLocation: Trumbull, CT, OnsiteShift: M-F 8-5Type: Contract, initially 4 months with extension.Pay: $25/hourRequirements:Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (desired), High School Degree MinThe candidate must demonstrate some lab experienceComputer literate in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of dataComfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocolsThe ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the dayPlease note this person will only be doing formulations on paper. They need strong attention to detail, file keeping, and documentation skills.Responsibilities:Participates in organizing and performing creating documentation within established procedures while summarizing and reporting results.Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.Involved in documenting the production liquid cleansing products.Tests characteristics of formulas using established procedures.Maintain and file FDA paper files, lab data, & maintain files by year & the unique FDA documentationUnpack & lift new products for testing, move & set-up product bins in the appropriate heated temperature-controlled chambersLabel each FDA product, check batch & UPC codesFile returned FDA product from the labs back in the appropriate bins in heated chambersSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
