Brief Position Overview:
Great Falls College MSU has varying needs for adjunct instructors. Adjunct instructors are hired Semester to Semester based on the needs of the institution, in a variety of subject areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and teaching subject matter content to traditional and non-traditional students;
- Assist with syllabus preparation and developing curriculum;
- Ability to stay current in field;
- Contribute to an effective work atmosphere by interacting positively and appropriately with students, co-workers, supervisors and visitors.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:
Required qualifications for adjunct teaching positions vary depending on the type of openings available and are based on the Montana Board of Regent’s Policy 730.

Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree(s) in industry or related field;
- Appropriate industry or field certifications (if applicable);
- Related work experience in degree area, industry or field of expertise;
- Successful teaching experience face to face and/or online;
- Experience in Higher Education, two year college, or Community College setting;
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
