DescriptionThe Assistant Right of Way Specialist will assist in the facilitation of land acquisitions, negotiations, property research, titles and surveys. This includes permitting support, assisting with construction coordination, and restoration on Right of Way projects in a variety of locations.Assist in analyzing, preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.Assist in research and collection of real property related project documents.Assist in translation of data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database.Assist in quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents.Assist with compiling technical data to be presented to Right of Way project team.Assist with preparation of permit applications for the project team.Assist in preparation of project status, technical, and acquisition reports for the project team.Assist project teams on document preparation and control, meeting agendas and other various project related activities.Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.QualificationsBachelor Degree in Business Administration or related degree from an accredited program required or,Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement required.Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.Basic knowledge of general real estate law and real estate title work preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem solving skills.Demonstrated leadership skills.Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filledEEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/VeteransJob Land Use/AcquisitionPrimary Location US-MO-Kansas CitySchedule: Full-timeTravel: Yes, 75 % of the TimeReq ID: 243771Job Hire Type New Grad #LI-AM #ENS
