Major Duties:

  1. Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.
  2. Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  3. Ensures that all duties are completed accurately within internal, market and SLA deadlines and timeframes, assisting and guiding other Partners as required.
  4. Manages multiple client queries and issues, ensuring their timely resolution.
  5. Communicates and coordinates via verbal and written modes, across various partners and external parties to research and resolve exceptions and queries.
  6. Attends internal and external meetings with Clients and Counterparties where required, taking a lead on behalf of team.
  7. Ensures that procedures are followed and updated regularly, assisting and guiding other Partners as required.
  8. Ensures that controls are adhered to and evidenced daily, assisting and guiding other Partners as required.
  9. Contributes to requirements gathering, testing and implementation phases of any change projects in which the team is a stakeholder.
  10. Provides support and builds relationships with business partners and brokers/counterparties and clients.
  11. Assists in maintaining the general ledger accounting and financial reporting for client accounts completing necessary reconciliation tasks.
  12. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
  13. Is technically sound in area of expertise and has good operational knowledge of other areas.
  14. Delivers a work product that does not require revision.

Knowledge:

  1. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a job discipline.
  2. Proven ability to work effectively within strict deadlines.
  3. Ability to process large and variable volumes accurately whilst consistently meeting external and internal deadlines.
  4. Thorough knowledge of the Derivatives market, complex products and operating conventions, including product lifecycles.
  5. Experience using Derivative market platforms and utilities.
  6. Ability to identify and pursue improvement opportunities.
  7. Demonstrates a drive for accuracy, to work systematically to meet and maintain standards and adhere to established procedure.
  8. Takes initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions according to risk, priorities and deadlines.
  9. Focuses on Client needs (internal and external) and works proactively to create mutually beneficial long-term solutions and relationships.
  10. Demonstrates commitment to personal leadership and growth.
  11. Excellent MS Excel/Word skills.

Experience:

  1. Accountable for own contributions.
  2. Experience in Accounting and/or Finance and a College or University degree in Business preferred, although other disciplines considered along with some 4+ years relevant work experience is required.
