1. Hands-on experience in setting up the environment for a big data platform from scratch
2. Experience with containerized applications and cloud deployment
3. Technical and people leadership to gain trust and respect of engineering team
4. Excellent working knowledge of Python, Java, and Scala
5. Working knowledge of Spark and SparkSQL
6. Experience with Kubernetes and NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra
7. Familiarity with Azure managed services will be a plus
