We have been in operation since 1962 and are nationally recognized as a member of Ward's Top 50 and rated A++ by A.M.Best.Duties:We are looking for a Business Development Specialist (Workers Compensation) to join our team in Melville, NY or Bala Cynwyd, PA!A typical day will include the following:Participates in the marketing activities across all regions to promote new business with agents, brokers and prospects.Attend conventions to promote business across all regions in the US.Solicit new business via in-house software and current agency relationships.Develops and conducts a fixed number of planned and qualified marketing/business development appointments per month/quarterly/annually.Demonstrate features and merits of policies offered.Submits qualified submissions for processing to Underwriter in complete form with a request for quotation by following the Code of Business Conduct.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 10 years' experience in carrier relationship managementExperience with workers compensation carriers and multi-linesWholesale brokerage experience preferredSalary:National salary range: $125,843.00-$148,051.00.Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as an applicant experience and geographic location.EEO Statement:Tokio Marine Group of Companies (including, but not limited to the Philadelphia Insurance Companies, Tokio Marine America, Inc., TMNA Services, LLC, TM Claims Service, Inc. and First Insurance Company of Hawaii, Ltd.) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
