IMA's Human Resources team is seeking a Compensation Analyst II to join our growing team! This position is responsible for the analysis and administration of IMA's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. A successful applicant must possess business acumen and professionalism, successfully build relationships, and have effective problem solving and communication skills. This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Benchmark IMA jobs against published survey data to determine salary grades and competitive compensation ranges for each position
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) classification as exempt or nonexempt
- Collaborate with internal clients across the organization to identify and resolve compensation-related initiatives and issues
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and use spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends
- Administer the annual IMA salary administration process (merit, bonus and equity grants)
- Manage the annual Producer salary administration process to determine annual draw and other sales driven metrics
- Interview managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job
- Research and evaluate new/changing compensation practices and policies and monitor compliance with changes in applicable laws and regulations
- Participate in annual published salary surveys
- Perform all other related duties as assigned

Required skills and experiences:
- 2+ years of similar or related experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) required
- Advanced math skills required
- Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maturity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
