Description This position is remote and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, TX and MT. The Senior IS Epic Applications Analyst - Cadence will demonstrate full use and application of standard principles, theories, and concepts related to technical discipline and provide solution to a variety of moderately complex problems. This role will manage small and moderately complex projects, establish and implement new or revised system requirements or procedures, analyze Epic user requirements, and develop and implement systems for moderately complex processes. This role will help coordinate activities of project team and act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. Initiate course correction to stay on schedule while providing professional support for a large multi-facility healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with caregivers to address and resolve escalation tickets related to scheduling, referral, and registration processes within Epic Cadence. Conduct system optimization efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of scheduling, referral, and registration workflows. Lead implementations of Epic Cadence applications, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals and requirements. Work closely with project managers to implement new sites into the Epic platform, providing expertise and guidance on Cadence functionality. Utilize your expertise in Cadence applications to streamline scheduling, referral, and registration processes, improving patient access and experience. Demonstrates service excellence and positive interpersonal relationship in dealing with others, including patients/families/members, employees, managers, medical staff, volunteers, and community members, so that productivity and positive relations are maximized. Applies standards, concepts and theories related to technical discipline to provide solutions to moderate to highly complex problems, while also mentoring less experienced staff in the use of these tools, techniques and analytical skills. Prepare documentation and assists in documenting and defining workflows in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Identifies, manages, and communicates issues and risks, diplomatically escalating as appropriate through areas affected. Assists in troubleshooting root cause failures. Able to define and meet individual goals consistent with organizational mission, quality, budget, customers, and financial results. Synthesizes data, information, and knowledge to analyze multiple approaches/solutions to issues or problems. Collaborates with peers to create and maintain standard team specific documentation. Instrumental in maintaining, and consistently participates in improving standards of documentation. Ability to travel as required; perform rotational on-call responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or equivalent education / experience. Within 90 days of hire Epic certification (must be kept up to date) Four years: Industry related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Upon hire: Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations Three years: Healthcare IS experience.
