We are seeking a Software Engineer III professional in our Dallas, TX office.

About Team:

Supply Chain at Sam’s Club is all about delivering plans that help provide our members with the products they want, where they want them, at the best price possible. You will collaborate with cross-functional software and quality engineers to build best in class technology solutions to tackle complex problems on a massive scale.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement software solutions that enable Sams Supply chain WMS systems.
  • Collaborate with other peers and teams to deliver feature enhancements.
  • Create and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and deploying those to Private and Public clouds like Microsoft Azure and GCP.
  • Lead team standards for engineering excellence and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate, create, and complete architectural designs including low and high-level designs.
  • Leverage industry standard technologies to solve complex enterprise opportunities.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in developing and testing highly distributed applications.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, React, NodeJS, GO or similar tech stacks.
  • Experience on Docker and Public clouds like Microsoft Azure and GCP.
  • Knowledge on Jira, K8s and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery).
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience working with relational database (Oracle, MySQL) and NO SQL database (like Cassandra).
  • Hands on experience working with SQL Query, SQLDR.
  • Familiarity with Unix commands and scripts.
  • A track record of solving highly complex business problems with software solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to demonstrate a base knowledge of computer science, with competencies in algorithms, software design and data structures.
