Role: Civil Project Manager - Site Design / Land Development
Location: Multiple locations (MA)
Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000 DOE (full suite of benefits, annual bonus, hybrid work schedule)
POSITION SUMMARY: We are on the hunt for a Project Manager who has a passion for land development and structural engineering. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with Senior Leadership groups, balancing multiple projects at once, and running a team of their own. DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with the firm's Principals and VPs to manage multiple projects
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Engineers and Designers who will assist your projects
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of proposals, budgets, designs, reports, construction documents, and more
• Present projects to state and local permitting agencies including zoning and planning boards and conservation commissions
• Participate in business development plan implementation
• Represent the firm in the community, professional organizations, and at events
• Perform other related activities as needed
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
• 6+ years of Civil Engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing teams is a plus
• Strong knowledge of the procedures and best practices for land development and structural engineering
• Knowledge of standard design practices and state permitting regulations and requirements
• Have a basic understanding of modern Engineering Softwares (Civil 3D, CAD, etc.)
• Attention to detail and the ability to think critically
