GENERAL INFORMATION:
Bus Drivers
Full-time, Permanent, 6 hrs/day
SALARY: State and Local salary based on educational experience. For approximate salary, click here:
Benefits:
Health Insurance: Employees working 30+ hours per week - Eligibility will begin the 1st of the month following your date of hire. The state will pay for the majority of the cost and the district will provide up to $180 monthly ($90 bi-weekly) towards your employee benefit costs. Once the paycheck deductions begin, you will see a credit of up to $180 per month ($90 bi-weekly) in your paycheck. Prescription coverage is through CVS Caremark.
Dental Insurance : Employees working at least 18.75+ hours per week, the school district will contribute up to $75/month towards the cost of the insurance.
Vision Insurance: All employees are eligible to purchase vision insurance thorough EyeMed at full cost.
District Paid Life Insurance: Employees working 20+ hours (support staff) are eligible. A $25,000 policy is carried on each employee at no cost.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Communicate in an appropriate fashion with student and employees.
Be able to comply with all district transportation requirements and Board of Education policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a high school graduate.
Must have and maintain a positive relationship with special needs children.
Must cover additional work as required.
Must complete training as required.
Must have CDL license with school bus endorsement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience preferred.
Current up-to-date records on file in the transportation office
Communicate in an appropriate fashion with student and employees.
Be able to comply with all district transportation requirements and Board of Education policies.
