Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Architechture & Building Engineering team as an Experienced Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Designing
- Low and medium voltage power systems
- Lighting systems and associated controls
- Fire alarm and mass notification systems
- Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems
- Developing probable construction costs;
- Providing construction administration and site visits
- Mentoring less experienced staff
- Some travel will be required
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
- At least five years of relevant electrical experience
- PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems
- Preparing construction document drawings using Revit
- Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)
- Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)
- Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications
- Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems
- Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers

Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
