We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Enterprise Architect to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Infrastructure Enterprise Architect to join our IT team. The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in defining and implementing the IT architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, systems integration, and technology trends to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist, as requested, in the development and implementation of the client's Business Architecture, Information System and Technology, Data Architecture, Architectural Programs and Initiatives, Architectural Governance, Research and Development, and provides Architecture Consultancy.
2. Assist in the identification of architectural tools and processes.
3. Understand the client's operational environment, client requirements and expectations of program operations.
4. Facilitate development and operations of systems, networks, and applications.
5. Lead development of solutions across all aspects of services environment including Data Centers to deliver enhanced user experience.
6. Interact with specialists and utilize their contributions to ensure secure application deployment and network operations.
7. Advocate with internal and customer stakeholders in latest technologies, methodologies, and approaches to satisfy client requirements.
8. Align with the client's strategic organizational business plans, cultivate relationships with business stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor who assists in the development and maintenance of current and future state business architecture.
9. Develop architectural metrics and reports for the executive team, business, and IT Management.
10. Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
11. Lead the design and implementation of complex IT solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
12. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement through technology.
13. Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across IT projects.
14. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the organization's IT capabilities.
15. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
16. Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system designs, data models, and integration diagrams.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an Infrastructure enterprise architecture role with the federal government.
3. Must be a US citizen.
4. Must live a commutable distance to the client site (Washington DC).

6. At least 2 High level technology certifications (examples include MCSE, LPIC-3, CCNP, or equivalents).
7. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
8. Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
