Job Requirements / Description
Seeking a caring, conscientious advocate who enjoys working with young children. This individual will possess at least a High School Diploma or GED. They will assist in planning, coordinating and directly supervising activities for school-aged children of La Posada. They will also assist with various day-to-day programming functions, to support La Posada participants and program staff. Position Highlights
  1. Assists in identifying age-appropriate educational and recreational activities and in developing short and long-term plan for children activities and workshops.
  2. Supports the supervision of all children in the program and monitors their safety at all times.
  3. Provides tutoring and homework assistance to school-age children.
  4. Helps facilitate safe socialization and exploration for the children.
  5. Actively engages children in positive educational and/or recreational activities.
  6. Works on other Adhoc projects as assigned by Children and Youth Support Coordinator.
