MACHINE TECHNICIAN

ShipIt, shipping 4.5 million orders a year, is here to fulfill and exceed customer expectations.
Located in Hurricane and St. George, Utah, we are looking for a full-time Machine Technician.
The Machine Technician will be responsible for quickly responding to equipment issues and ensuring that all repairs are efficient, resulting in minimized downtime.
What you will do:

• Inspect and adjust machine performance quality regularly
• Keep the machines operational so that repairs can be made after hours
• Document processes and maintain mechanical service records for daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
• Keep an updated database of all of machine information, defective units, and final products
• Maintain a tidy work environment and adhere to industry regulations
• Install and perform diagnostic tests on every ShipIt machine
• Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns

• Able to calibrate machinery
• Knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard regulations
• Effective time management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in printers and computers

What you must bring:

• Proficiency in production procedures and best practices
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a machine operator

Pay: $16 to $19 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
