JIB Accountant

Financial Additions has partnered with a longstanding client in search of an JIB Accountant. The ideal candidate will have worked extensively in Oil and Gas specifically with Joint Interest Billing. Job Description

• Perform physical inventory audits of third party and company owned yards.
• Answer partner and internal managements billing inquiries.
• Process and scanning material transfers for inventory movements.
• Perform yearly yard reconciliations
• Assist in monthly JIB Processing to ensure accurate billing to partners.
• Assist with special projects, initiatives, and process improvements as needed.

Requirements

• BA or BS Degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in E&P Joint Interest Accounting.
• Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) knowledge.
• COPAS Accounting procedure knowledge
• EnergyLink experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products.
