Renewal Underwriter

JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing Insurance Wholesale Agency seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Renewal Underwriter. This role requires exercising independent judgment and leadership in managing renewals but does not involve managing others. If you are passionate about delivering best-in-class service, possess strong organizational skills, and have experience in Commercial Garage Insurance, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare New and Renewal Folders : Ensure all documents and information required to bind policies are complete and accurate, following Carrier guidelines.
• Quoting Renewals : Efficiently and accurately quote renewals based on market availability, adhering to department service standards and company compliance, while meeting annual income goals. Proactively manage renewals starting 30 days prior to policy expiration, ensuring adherence to renewal service standards and achieving minimum retention goals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Transportation experience; auto, trucking, cargo, etc. ; ideally 2+ specific to garage
