Overview
The LDA Media Supervisor will report to the Media Director and primarily focus on local traditional and digital efforts for dealers in the western region. The job includes regional travel and presenting to clients.
Key responsibilities will include helping lead local media planning and emerging media development for the Area. Utilizing all applications of research including Nielsen, ComScore and MRI/Simmons. Knowledge of Search is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive market expert, always looking ahead to anticipate client reactions and the marketplace. Expected to investigate and develop creative media opportunities that will enhance the overall media plan. They must possess excellent presentation skills (written and verbal) and experience managing others.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and supports planning team in the development of sound strategic media recommendations.
- Communicates with MD on issues and project deadlines.
- Generates and maintains information flow between the LDA Media Team, LDA Account/Field teams and Zenith Media. Builds and maintains solid working relationships with each team.
- Delegates and follows-up on projects with Media Planners (MPs), Assistant Media Planner (AMPs) and other agency counterparts to ensure timely completion.
- Develops and trains MPs and AMPs.
- Ensuring accurate financial accountability and maintenance on media plans at all times.
- Develop POVs on a variety of media opportunities and provide guidance to Assistants and Planners.
- Maintain positive relationships with the Media community.
- Development of client presentations for various dealer meetings using PowerPoint or other presentation tools.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of agency or other media related experience. Cross discipline experience (broadcast, streaming video, digital, print, ooh) is a must.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of OX/Media Ocean, Prisma, Guidelines (formerly Media Tools), CMR, IMS, Excel and PowerPoint. This person must be highly organized, with excellent communication skills as well as an aptitude for accuracy and detail. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and work with various field contacts while balancing client demands and prioritizing projects. Should have confidence in their media knowledge as well as expressing confidence when working with the field staff, Lexus Area and dealer contacts. Must possess an outgoing personality and be willing to contribute new ideas and help build a cohesive team.

- Work Direction Over Others: Must provide proper direction of projects to AMP & MP. The delegation process must include specifics, deadlines and daily follow up (if needed). Prioritize projects for AMP & MP to ensure efficiency of workflow. Setting appropriate timelines and reviewing work for accuracy is critical.
- Supervision Received: The Media Supervisor has access to the Media Director and the Group Media Director on a daily basis. The MS is expected to initiate the status of projects.
Impact: The Media Supervisor's contributions greatly impact the success of the team and the client's perception of the Media department. Accuracy and delivery of projects in a timely manner are important to maintain a strong client relationship. A very high level of accuracy is required in stewarding media purchases and budget administration. Errors that result in a loss of time and the ability to correct a mistake may cause Team One to incur a financial loss and impact the client/agency relationship.

Compensation Range: $70,000.00 - $117,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
