Location: Atlanta/ Chicago/ Remote

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

• Hands-on doer with 15+ years of experience, including at least 5+ years of public cloud transformation & DevOps. Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers.
• Trusted technical advisor on all matters related to public cloud, containerization & modernization.
• Work in a highly collaborative environment alongside cross-functional teams, client teams, and partners (AWS, etc.).
• Maintain an understanding of advancing cloud capabilities, IT and business needs, while identifying and proposing cost and functional efficiency options for the customer’s collaborative decisions and actions.
• Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies & common infrastructure platform components, and assess migration feasibility.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of large-scale public cloud implementations and make strong contributions to design & architecture. Establish Cloud & DevOps CoE for large enterprise customers to ensure successful transformation and adoption.
• Assess the customers’ knowledge of the cloud platform and overall cloud readiness to support them through a structured development plan and ensure its delivery.
• Generate public cloud migration roadmaps and blueprints. Experience in executing large data center / public cloud migration projects (Hybrid Cloud).
• Fully conversant with designing disaster recovery strategies and plans.
• Educate customers on best practices & value propositions to ensure solutions are designed to world-class standards.
• Participate and contribute to the development of engineering accelerators.
• Ability to help develop and implement security measures related to the development process and mentor and coach other members of the agile team.

AWS Specific

• 5+ years AWS architecture experience is highly desirable, with deep expertise in some/multiple AWS domains (Data, Infra, Networking, Security, DevOps, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with setting up landing zone using AWS Control Tower is a must.
• AWS Solution Architect Professional certification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience with various AWS infrastructure, services, and their limitations.
• Experience implementing a DevOps model on AWS.

Highly Desired Skills

• Background in Software Development, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, and/or Systems Engineering.
• Experience building and deploying solutions as containers on a cloud platform using an automated CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in configuring, monitoring, and handling scaling infrastructure in the cloud.
• Author best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments in the cloud.
• Implemented end-to-end automated delivery pipelines for continuous application development.
• Evaluated products/technology & created IT roadmaps for adoption.
