About Client:

The client is a renowned company specializing in video editing software and hardware. It's flagship product, has become a popular choice for both amateur and professional video editors, offering a comprehensive suite of tools for video capture, editing, and production. Over the years, it has been acquired by various companies, including Avid Technology and later Corel Corporation, continuing to evolve and integrate advanced technologies to meet the changing demands of digital video production.

Rate Range: $20-$30/hr on W2.

Job Description:

Install, terminate, and test various types of voice, data, and video cabling including CAT5, CAT6, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine installation specifications.

Perform cable pulls, routing, and placement in both new construction and existing buildings.

Install and configure patch panels, outlets, jacks, and other related hardware.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during installation and maintenance.

Conduct tests using cable testers and certification tools to verify cable integrity and performance.

Troubleshoot and repair cabling issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of cable pathways and labelling.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the installation and maintenance of cabling systems.
