Named one of Newsweek’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers in the U.S. — and the best treatment center in Indiana — Community Fairbanks is where patients suffering from addiction receive exceptional care.Make a DifferenceThe Life Skills Clinician (LSC) monitors and provides care coordination and life skills training and development in collaboration with the care team to youth and/or adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders, including those with serious and persistent mental illness and chronic addiction.Exceptional Skills and QualificationsApplicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.Care team: Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary care team member. May assist with gathering data for comprehensive psychosocial assessments. Able to deescalate clients displaying aggressive behaviors. Documents services provided in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) based on policies and procedures. When necessary, will transport clients in personal vehicles.Department Accountabilities: Complies with all applicable Behavioral Health Care Service policies and procedures. Actively involved in professional development and education, including mandatory training.
