Job Title: Enterprise Sales Executive - Remote

About The Role
The Enterprise Sales Executive is a True Hunter with a fire and drive to win, is a Consultative Sales Professional and knows how to forge relationships and close major accounts - defined as businesses with 5,000 or more employees. This person will ultimately be responsible for building out their book of business and meeting/exceeding an annual new business target quota. This position will involve meetings with potential clients on a regular basis to further build a network of business contacts and ultimately drive company revenue.
This Is What You’ll Do
- Hunt for new business using Sterling’s database and other methods to develop relationships that will result in sales presentations.
- Build and manage relationships throughout the sales cycle to gain new accounts in an assigned territory.
- Review and analyze market data to develop and implement own business plan and utilize company resources to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Assess potential of prospects with a true deep and wide approach while developing strategies for greater account penetration.
- Understand our client/prospects’ organizational dynamics and probe to discover needs and key decision makers.
- Analyze prospect’s business processes and design solutions that best meet their requirements.
- Develop and deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and advice.
- Articulate complex concepts and business solutions clearly through demos and proposals.
- Coordinate processes with internal, external and/or third parties when necessary.
- Participate in regular structured Sales Training programs to improve sales performance.
- Possible travel may be required.

- Proven track record of success, consisting of:
- Effectively connect with senior level decision makers in organizations worldwide.
- Superior client facing interaction skills including negotiation tactics and the ability to develop and deliver compelling client presentations and win business.
- Sales Strategy and a successful individual contributor track record for winning business.
- Aggressive attitude in developing new accounts and building personal relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate within large multi-product organizations and close large deals.
- Experience selling consulting, research services, and/or background screening services is ideal.
- Able to take a consultative and/or hard sell approach - experience selling to HR is preferred.
- Ability to develop great relationships with clients, fellow staff members and other professionals.
- Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels within the organization (internally & externally).
- Computer literacy requirements: Salesforce, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Writing and email skills need to be particularly strong along with excellent organization skills.
- 5 years of B2B Sales experience with 2+ years of Enterprise Sales experience.
- Four-year college degree from an accredited university is strongly preferred and MBA is a +.
The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to participate in the Global Sales Incentive Plan. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
