Network Engineer Senior

The selected Senior Network Engineer will be joining the Echo Program area of the Space Security Division of Lockheed Martin Space, Mission Solutions.

This is a high speed, and growing program area that has demonstrated the ability to execute rapidly on ever changing customer priorities. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a team environment to overcome complex problems.

Common Job Duties

1. Designs and plans network communications systems.
2. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
3. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
4. Conducts testing of network design.
5. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, Ipsec tunnels, etc.
6. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
