Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to capture and expand market share within the division's customer base. Focus on customers with sales potential exceeding $0.5 million annually. Responsible for generating new account revenue to meet or exceed targets set by senior management.
Create and maintain a pipeline of high-potential new business, and transition qualified accounts to Territory Managers. Research customer requirements, analyze market trends, and stay informed of competitors' products and pricing to provide value-added services to clients.
Leverage industry contacts to identify key decision makers and maintain ongoing relationships. Attend relevant industry events and contribute to sales meetings and training sessions. Collaborate with Category and Segment Specialists to develop compelling offerings for prospective accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry
- Proven ability to open high-value accounts and exceed sales targets
