Job Description Summary

The Site Finance Head is primarily responsible for the site financial performance while supporting site strategies and decision making. The finance head owns all site financial activities and ensures compliance reporting of results and maintaining robust financial controls. Develop site financial plans to meet cost/unit targets for Cell & Gene Therapy and contract manufacturing products.

Location: This opportunity is located onsite in Morris Plains, NJ and will not have the ability to be remote.

Major accountabilities:

  • Manage the overall financial stewardship of the manufacturing site
  • Lead the annual budget and productivity targets for the site
  • Support Site Head to develop and create 3-year site strategic financial plan aligned with Cell & Gene Therapy and Contract Manufacturing global platform strategy
  • Monitor monthly unit cost performance vs target
  • Deliver and report monthly results and develop monthly/annual financial outlook each month
  • Create financial risks and opportunities schedule; including risk mitigation plan and actions to realize benefits
  • Partner with US financial controls & compliance team to ensure site financial controls meet local requirements
  • Manage site CapEx financial processes
  • Prepare monthly business reviews and other senior management presentations
  • Monitor and report monthly personnel costs and headcount, indirect spend and direct spend
  • Continuously monitor performance and propose resource allocations as needed
  • Build contract manufacturing financial models; support new customer request for proposal responses and additional services

Salary Range: $174,400 - $261,600/year. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $174,400 and $261,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
