Sales Account Manager
Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $120k-130k Total Comp (Base + Commission)
Konik is partnering with a local large equipment remanufacturing company that is seeking a Sales Account Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by managing client relationships and identifying new opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building strong customer relationships, and is eager to contribute to a successful sales team.
Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and grow your assigned client base
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and uncover new business opportunities in large equipment and aftermarket services
- Source new leads through referrals, networking, social media, online research, and in-person meetings
- Qualify leads and assess client potential
- Provide a high-touch, personalized approach through the entire quote process, delivering exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet goals and promote company initiatives
Sales Account Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong mechanical knowledge of engines and the automotive field is a plus
- Proven sales experience, particularly in the automotive industry
- Track record of developing and closing sales opportunities, especially within OEMs and truck and equipment dealerships
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a talent for building lasting customer relationships
- Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong negotiation, listening, and presentation skills with a focus on closing new business
- Ability to leverage data analytics to inform sales decisions and strategies
- A self-starter who can prioritize initiatives and work independently, while contributing to a team-oriented environment
