General Dentist DMD-DDS

The Pediatric Dentist will be responsible for the provision of direct dental services to both adults and children in accordance with the protocols, policies, and procedures of the Health Center.

Ensure that patients/clients receive quality, timely, professional services in accordance with the Center’s mission and values. Provide direct patient care within the scope of general dentistry, including endodontia and exodontia. Through teamwork and accountability, resolve patient complaints and concerns.

Exhibit behavior and attitudes of courtesy and respect to patients and members of the health care team. Act as a resource to resolve patient and staff concerns. The Pediatric Dentist will have affiliation with UCLA Medical School and UCLA School of Dentistry.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Current California license to practice dentistry.
2. Graduate from an American accredited dental school preferred.
3. Prior experience in community dentistry preferred.
4. Prior experience working on children preferred.
5. Demonstrated ability to respond with sensitivity to people of diverse cultures and various lifestyles.
6. Demonstrated ability to work with professional and lay volunteers.
