What you'll do: The Technical Account Specialist manages Diversey’s businesses within their assigned territory. This individual will be responsible for delivering the value proposition and meeting contracted service level agreements for primarily laundry, kitchen, and housekeeping applications. The Technical Account Specialist must build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers have an outstanding experience with the Diversey cleaning and sanitation program.
- Establish excellent relationships at all customer organization levels.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures for safety and security.
- Install equipment following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct routine visits and maintain existing customer equipment.
- Train customers on safe equipment use and cleaning procedures.
- Check inventory to ensure customers have the necessary supplies on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
- Manage inventory levels in company vehicle and storage units.
- Repair leased dish machines and equipment as per service level agreement.
- Execute administrative duties, including timesheet completion and documentation.
- Complete mandatory training programs.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of field service experience or selling cleaning solutions/equipment.
- Availability for emergency calls during evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer technology experience (Email, Excel, Word, Google Apps).
- Valid US Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Ability to move objects up to 40 lbs.
- Effective use of power tools and plumbing/electrical skills.
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce (FSL).
