Office Administrative Assistant (Healthcare)

We are seeking a motivated and personable Office Administrative Assistant to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting healthcare providers and collaborating with various departments on a range of projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and experience working with insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
? Serve as a key point of contact for healthcare provider clients, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
? Assist in managing projects across different departments, ensuring timelines are met and tasks are completed accurately.
? Handle inquiries and documentation related to insurance providers, including claims, authorizations, and reimbursements.
? Maintain detailed records and manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
? Provide support in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
? Liaise with insurance providers, resolving any issues or discrepancies related to billing and claims.
? Ensure the office runs smoothly by managing supplies, coordinating meetings, and assisting with any ad-hoc administrative tasks.
? Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
? Proven experience working in an administrative role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
? Familiarity with insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, etc.
? Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
? Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing workloads and deadlines.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and healthcare-related software.
? Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
? A positive, team-oriented personality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Education and Experience:
? High School Diploma or GED required; associate?s degree or higher preferred.
? Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance-related administrative role is strongly preferred.
