Outcomes: The Senior Leadership and Execution Analyst is expected to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Execution: Fill vacant positions within 14 calendar days. A position is considered filled when:
    • The candidate selected has signed a contingent offer,
    • The customer has approved the candidate (if required), and
    • Security paperwork for the approved candidate (if any) has been submitted to the Government.
  • Staff Development: Maintain a 90 – 95% project staff retention rate.

Responsibilities:

Gemini is seeking a high-energy, results-oriented individual to lead the staffing and retention of Top Performers on the US Air Force Concepts Development and Management project within the Advanced Concepts and Technology Division. The individual selected will lead activities that ensure on-time project staffing; staff member career development, recognition, and support; and team cohesion.

  • Manage and streamline the efficient requirements definition, candidate screening, and pre-employment tasks to staff new and vacant positions with Top Performers . Lead multiple project staffing assignments to completion in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage the documentation of position requirements including tasks to be performed and experience, certification, and security requirements.
  • Identify current staff members whose career progression would benefit from transition to the position and confirm staff member interest.
  • Assign, manage, and track the support of Gemini project, recruiting, HR, and security staff through the completion of pre-employment tasks.
  • Meet with new staff members within 30 days of hire to complete orientation and in-processing.
  • Maintain frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities critical to short-term and long-term project objectives. Implement and support programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop technical and management capabilities throughout the project workforce including Quarterly/Annual Awards and Incentive Program Nominations. Support recognition, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Communicate with project staff members periodically to discuss their interests and concerns. Create slates of individuals identified for new assignments, leadership development, and career advancement opportunities. Work with the Gemini Program Manager and Team Leads to address staff member concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience including 5 years in business operations in support of DoD or DHS.
  • Ability to work on multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Experience in two of the following areas:
    • Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) or Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contracts requiring a Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
    • Time and Materials contracts using Contract Labor Categories.
    • Contracts requiring the delivery of engineering, systems integration, or DoD security services.
  • Strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint skills.
