Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., a national non-profit, is seeking Part Time Advocates to join our team in our Crawford County program. As an Advocate, you play a crucial role in advocating for the needs and interests of youth in our community. You will have the opportunity to support and empower youth and families to make positive changes in their lives and provide them with the resources they need to succeed.
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Crawford County are available.
  • Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school and home settings.
  • The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned clients and their families.
  • All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience with the target population is also preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
