JOB REF: 1964: LECTURER IN MATHS (GCSE & FUNCTIONAL SKILLS)
£25,646 - £32,058 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Do you have a passion for education and are bursting with enthusiasm to develop and inspire both 16-19 and adults who want to upskill or retrain?
We are looking for outstanding and motivated Lecturers to join our English and Maths teams with opportunities to teach GCSE and Functional Skills.
No previous experience of teaching is required and we offer an enhanced package of support. This includes working closely with our Teaching and Learning Coaches, receiving tailored support for induction, lesson preparation, ILT, peer observing and getting the basics right.
You will also have the opportunity to obtain a teaching qualification through the initial training programme for new teachers.
Requirements for Lecturers
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Maths or English
- A Degree in a relevant or relatable subject is preferable
- Teaching qualification is desirable or willing to work towards within one year
- Demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
