Job Summary:The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key donors, foundations, and corporate partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills to cultivate and manage a portfolio of accounts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and possess a deep understanding of nonprofit fundraising and relationship management.Key Responsibilities:Relationship Management:-Build and maintain strong relationships with key donors, foundations, and corporate partners. -Develop and execute strategic relationship-building plans. -Proactively identify and cultivate new donor opportunities. -Provide excellent customer service and address donor inquiries promptly and professionally.Fundraising and Grant Writing:-Identify potential funding sources and develop compelling grant proposals. -Research and write grant applications, letters of intent, and other fundraising materials. -Track grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals. -Manage the grant application process, including budget development and reporting.Donor Stewardship:-Develop and implement donor stewardship plans, including personalized thank-you letters, donor recognition events, and regular communication. -Cultivate a culture of philanthropy and donor engagement. -Manage donor records and maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information.Event Planning and Execution:-Plan and execute fundraising events, such as galas, auctions, and donor appreciation events. -Manage event logistics, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and volunteer recruitment. -Oversee event marketing and promotion.Qualifications:-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, business administration, marketing) -3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or account management -Strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficiency in grant writing and proposal development -Experience with donor databases and CRM systems -Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines -Passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to our mission
