Role Snapshot: The Creative Director will be a key leader on the Marketing Communications team providing direction to the team of copywriters, art directors, designers, and multi-media individuals to ensure all marketing materials adhere to the brand standards. The Creative Director will work closely with the Marketing Director, Content Strategy Director, and the VP of Marketing to create and execute marketing plans to support all areas of the WPS business including the Health Plan, Government Services, Data Logistics, and New Ventures. The Creative Director will manage WPS websites to ensure they are updated in the new branding, are refreshed frequently with compelling marketing content, and help enhance the customer experience.

- Leadership & Creative Direction Lead the creative department by developing and articulating a clear creative vision for each project, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines. Mentor and guide the creative team providing consistent feedback and support to enhance their work. Serve as the primary creative decision-maker, ensuring that all creative output is innovative, effective, and meets high-quality standards.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution Work closely with the Marketing/Communication team to understand objectives, ensuring that creative strategies are developed and aligned with overall campaign goals. Lead creative brainstorming sessions to generate fresh, impactful ideas that resonate with client target audiences. Oversee the development of creative assets across multiple channels (digital, print, video, web), ensuring that all deliverables are produced on time and within scope. Ensure brand consistency across all client campaigns by maintaining and enforcing brand guidelines, while also contributing to the development of new branding initiatives.
- Quality Control & Creative Standards Own the quality of all creative deliverables. Review and approve all final creative assets, ensuring they meet both client expectations and internal quality benchmarks. Take responsibility for the timely delivery of all creative projects, coordinating with the PM to ensure that deadlines are realistic and achievable. Provide ongoing feedback during the production process to refine work and guide the team towards exceptional results.
- Team Development & Leadership Foster a positive and collaborative environment within the creative team, promoting open communication, creativity, and accountability. Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities for the creative team, helping them grow their skills and advance in their careers. Lead by example, setting high standards for creativity, work ethic, and collaboration across the department.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, English, or a related field Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
- Experience leading and developing creative teams
- 10 years of proven experience as a Creative Director or in a senior creative leadership role, preferably within a marketing or creative agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative projects across various mediums, with a focus on branding, digital campaigns, and web development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong knowledge of project management software and the ability to manage workflows, deadlines, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of managing and mentoring creative teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Copywriting background

Salary Range
$140,000 - $170,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
