We have an exciting Industrial Maintenance Trainer opportunity in our Guymon processing facility. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key facilities/maintenance/engineering department member. This position is responsible for the orientation of new employees to the maintenance department to ensure all required certification training is completed, standard operating procedures are acknowledged, acts as a Procter for level assessments, and ensures all new hires understand all Company requirements for workplace and food safety protocols. Additionally, this position is the liaison between the Company and third-party vendors utilized for competency and skills-based training.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly trains and coordinates the activities of industrial maintenance technicians, adhering to all Company SOPs and policies.
- Leads classroom style training to new mechanics
- Constructs training boards related to pneumatics, electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical
- Assess maintenance technicians skill level in all areas
- Follows up and reinforces skills learned in new hire orientation or Company training are being utilized properly and adhering to workplace and food safety protocols.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the assigned line/department requirements and competently demonstrates the skills required for each department.
- Collaborates with maintenance management to schedule training sessions to achieve level advancement.
- Adheres to all workplace and food safety policies and procedures outlined by the company and required by federal, state, and local laws.
- Evaluate trainee progress and maintain records of trainee's progress and achievements.
- Communicates and collaborates with all levels of management within the organization.
- Communicates effectively with all employees and provides direction, instructions, and feedback based on the employee's experience level.
- Ability to understand recruiting strategies for maintenance technicians and conducts interviews to recommend for hiring.
- Develop content, as necessary, for any supplemental training for the department.
- Follows up and provides appropriate feedback and recognition based on level of performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Deep electrical engineering knowledge
- Strong hydraulics knowledge
- Strong pneumatics knowledge
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- 5 - 10 years of hands on experience in the food service industry
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting, preferably in a maintenance or engineering position.
- Food manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- English required, bilingual a plus

- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

- This position is primarily on the production floor and will have limited office time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment requires you to wear hearing protection at all times on the production floor.
- The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
