AIR Communities is hiring an Associate Manager for Ocean House on Prospect in La Jolla, California!

This rare and unique opportunity offers the opportunity to operate AIR's boutique, 53-unit luxury community in the heart of La Jolla , providing world class experience from start to finish for residents, paving the way for the next step in your career.

What We Offer

AIR offers attractive compensation packages that reward performance including:

  • Competitive Base Salary and Industry-leading Commissions
    • Expected hourly rate of $24.00-27.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
    • Multiple opportunities to increase commission per lease including:
      • Longer lease term: 18-month or longer vs. the standard 12-month length
      • Higher rent rate unit: Updated finishes, larger floorplan, better view, etc.
      • Exceeding monthly goal: Several tiers to increase percentage of total lease value earned per lease
  • 25% Rent Discount at any AIR community.
    • Option to live onsite with zero commute or at a nearby AIR community.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the entire consumer life cycle including acquisition of residents following AIR's sales process, providing excellent customer service, and retention of existing residents including renewal negotiations, resident issues, escalated price negotiations, demand letters, evictions, documentations for files, audits, etc.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our residents, creating moments that matter at every opportunity.
  • Work collaboratively with Service teammate to ensure the perfect move-in, and maintenance is completed effectively and efficiently while providing a world class experience. May travel to other communities as needed.
  • Maintain a track record of consistently meeting or surpassing monthly leasing and renewal goals.

What You Have

  • 2 or more years of related experience, preferably in a sales or leasing environment
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of current and future residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability using sales process to achieve individual and team goals. Proficiency in computer systems and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and capacity to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Understanding of Fair Housing a plus.
