A premier special effects company is searching for a Sales Manager to join the team in Northridge, CA! This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated customer service/sales team in an exciting industry, manage high-profile clients, and drive new business development. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer engagement, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service to clients such as the NFL, MLB, Cirque du Soleil, cruise lines, and theater/film productions. Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 / year DOE


Sales Manager Requirements:

  1. 5-7+ years of B2B sales experience
  2. 1-2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
  3. Proficiency in Excel (formulas) and Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  5. Strong communication and organizational skills
  6. Detail-oriented with the ability to motivate a diverse team

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a customer service/sales team of 3 employees
  2. Oversee order processing, outbound calls, and client engagement
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in underserved verticals
  4. Manage high-profile clients and build strong relationships
  5. Respond to orders and requests for quotes, understanding client needs and putting together accurate quotes
  6. Convert quotes to orders, collaborating with the production team to ensure client requirements are met
  7. Oversee the management of 20,000 clients, assisting with payment follow-ups as needed
  8. Manage marketing efforts, including increasing engagement on social media platforms
  9. Handle a sales cycle ranging from immediate orders to long-term custom projects
  10. Use and train others on Account Edge for inventory management and CRM software Goldmine
