Job Requirements / Description
Your day as a Sales Manager?
Your alarm rings at 04:00. Do not panic. That is not always the case, but today you get in the car early to Chicago. There you have six beautiful days ahead of you. First, you have an appointment with a potential customer about a new automation project. You have prepared a catchy presentation with your Sales Support colleague. The customer is enthusiastic about the technical details and inventiveness of the systems you propose!
Now that you’re in Chicago, grab the Pack Expo fair right away. You get energy from trade fairs and seminars. You know that you will run into chain partners and (potential) customers here, which is why you have made a shortlist together with marketing and product management. Your market and product knowledge is up-to-date!
On your way home, you get a call: that customer from Mexico you’ve been working with for a few months has ordered the project! That is good news. You immediately schedule a meeting with your colleagues from sales support and engineering: you have a tight deadline to meet. And what’s so nice: you sold the latest version of our handling systems to this customer for the first time. Yes! A great challenge for the entire project team.
At the gas station, you grab a bowl of noodles. Hmmm. Why doesn’t this company have Lan Handling systems yet? Time to get in touch!
How you get things moving:
You have a Bachelor's degree with a technical or business background
5-10 years of experience in an international sales role (machinebuilding or food industry)
A proven trackrecord in gaining new business in a B2B environment
Social, entrepreneurial and a true networker!
Good communication skills both verbal and written
We offer
A completely new supermarket experience. Huh, what?! Really.
Once you start working at Lan Handling, shopping will never be the same again. From that day on, you will turn over all the pouches, cans and jars you see.
You’ll find yourself always checking: yes! we also handle this product with our machines! But that’s not all of course:
A working environment full of opportunities to develop further. Good idea? Any training wishes? Discuss it with your supervisor and get started.
Be part of the entrepreneurial team of Lan Handling North America. Is your input our new success story?
Flexible working hours, so you can make time for sports, hobbies or just to take your children calmly to school in the morning.
No day will be the same with working locations in the Jacksonville office, at home or onsite at any of our dozens of customers in the Americas. Good travel allowances included!
We celebrate our successes, so you can benefit from our annual profit-sharing program in case of good (company) performance.
Work on cutting-edge technology at world-class global food and beverage customers.
Feel part of the Lan-team with company provided working clothes and PPEs.
