Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer with a strong background in Electrical Engineering to join our team. This role will focus on programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems, with a particular emphasis on Allen Bradley , Siemens S7 , and Siemens PLC systems . You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and high performance of our equipment across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs, primarily using Allen Bradley and Siemens S7 systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, and associated control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of automated systems.
- Perform electrical design and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams and production staff.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and recommend improvements for system reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Automation Engineering , or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with PLC programming (specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens S7 ).
- Proficient in Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000 .
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP , PROFINET ).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and installations.
