Job Description
Family Ark provides quality human service programs for youth and families in southern Indiana. Family Support Staff provide support services to our clients in our Family Preservation program and at the Lotus House. The Lotus House is a transitional housing program for pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery. In the Family Preservation program, this individual works with DCS-involved families who have had a substantiated incident of abuse and/or neglect, where DCS believes the child(ren) can remain in the home with their caregiver(s) with the implementation of appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Provide transportation for clients to access needed services.
  • Provide childcare while clients access needed services.
  • Complete required documentation regarding support services provided.
  • Work as a part of an interdisciplinary team to meet client needs.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
