Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Baker at Minky Snacks. The Baker will be responsible for bakery tasks including baking muffins, packaging muffins, and maintaining a clean kitchen space.

Qualifications

• Baking skills
• Currently valid food manager certification
• Experience in food preparation
• Knowledge of baking muffins
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Attention to detail and precision to produce a high-quality, consistent product
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation setting
• Culinary or baking certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in the kitchen to prepare and bake a single product with additional flavors coming soon.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation in every batch.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations and the rules of our kitchen.
• Package finished products for sale while ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
• Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Provide exceptional quality assurance to confirm product consistency.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of products.
• Practice excellent time management in the kitchen to respect others' time and space.
• Properly clean all equipment according to food safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen workspace.
• Communicate clearly and directly with the manager at the beginning and end of each shift.
