Lido Advisors, LLC, an established and expanding wealth management firm, is looking for a Trader to leverage our wide array of firm assets. We cater to various strategies as well as asset classes. We work closely with our Sales team to provide unique situations based on client needs. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to make an impact on an exponentially growing firm.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists and executes orders for fixed income, derivatives, equity, and exchange traded options.
  • Reviews and assists Trader in the implementation of general and administrative issues, relevant to the department.
  • Reviews all activity for accuracy of account information.
  • Ensures correct ticket entry and order routing. Maintains communication with operations team and assists in resolving any settlement problems.
  • Ensures all trades are booked to front office position keeping system on the day they are executed.
  • Reconciles daily and/or monthly reports, as assigned.
  • Ensures compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with Lido Advisor's regulatory standards.
  • Trade Reconciliation - Work with Private Client Services to review and reconcile reports to ensure trades have been executed and booked correctly.
  • Monitor market conditions and key indicators to measure impact on price movements and volumes.
  • Act as a liaison between the internal trading desk and their supporting functions such as Investment Operations, Risk and Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues that may arise.
  • Under supervision of senior staff, execute trades within SEC/SRO guidelines and in accordance with the firm's best execution policies.
  • Assists in general administrative activity for the team.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of related work experience in the Asset Management or Financial Services Industry
  • Proven project management skills required to assist the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Trading
  • Series 63 or Series 65
  • Must have experience as a Trader or Trading Assistant for equity and/or derivative-related products such as options, swaps, or other over-the-counter securities
  • Strong communication skills required to provide market updates and make presentations to senior members within the Investment Management team
  • Equity middle office and operations experience is a plus but not required
  • Working knowledge of Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, etc.), Python, other coding skills are a plus

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range below is an estimate and may be modified in the future.
