  • Provide leadership and mining sector development of Tetra Tech’s U.S.-based mining initiative to optimize the execution of complex mining projects, the identification of significant mining opportunities, and the capture of those opportunities in the U.S. and globally in coordination with U.S.- and foreign-based Tetra Tech mining resources.

Focus these efforts in the pursuit of precious and base metals, and industrial minerals markets. Understand client and competitor strengths and weaknesses in the mining sector and use this understanding to position Tetra Tech to obtain opportunities for high award potential or sole source work with enhanced revenue and margins.

  • Utilize personal and in-house technical and project management expertise and Tetra Tech’s standard practices on active projects to ensure scope, schedule and budget constraints and client satisfaction are met.
  • Develop strategic teaming partnerships (e.g., joint ventures, small business alliances, and prime/sub) for major commercial projects and leverage client relationships to identify prospective partnerships.
  • Energize and inspire the team to feel highly supported by leadership and motivated to assertively compete every day for the business.
  • Attract and assist in recruiting key talent who fit with Tetra Tech’s entrepreneurial culture and team approach.
