Position Description
If you are an experienced hands-on Software engineer with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment, we have exciting opportunities to build your career.
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who possesses a high degree of competence in developing easy-to-use, customer focused responsive user interface applications. You will help us design and develop applications that focus on customer experience. Also, you will be involved in integrating with backend services and contribute to the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment as a member of an agile, multi-functional team.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Be a hands-on lead and mentor to a small team.
Participate in design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and aligned to overall Architecture.
Design, Develop and test highly scalable responsive user interfaces.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Participate in CI/CD activities.
Understand the leadership vision and execute on that vision.
Strengthen and promote the culture of innovation by setting examples.
Find creative ways to get things done, automate and do them right.
Foster a culture of best-in-class software engineering practices.
Exercise a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date with the latest frameworks and concepts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
8-10+ years of experience building single-page applications (SPA) using modern Angular (9+) framework with TypeScript.
Experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with front-end development.
Experience in developing Angular UI applications and capable of full stack Java development.
Angular UI experience to create responsive, visually appealing, and highly functional user interfaces.
Working knowledge of reactive state management with Redux, NgRx/RxJS, or equivalent.
Professional experience integrating applications with REST based services.
Ability to prototype and deliver Angular applications quickly and adapt to changing business requirements.
Exposure to SQL and knowledge of RDBMS concepts.
Experience in at least one unit testing framework and understanding of test-driven development (TDD) concepts and methodologies.
Proven experience with CI/CD and DevOps best practices as it relates to UI deployments.
Additional technical skills that are nice to have: AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), NoSQL, Vector, and Graph databases, Python, Jenkins, Linux.
A creative problem solver and a curiosity fueled by keeping up with advanced technology and industry trends, especially in the open-source community.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Experience building and maintaining distributable NPM packages is desirable.
Mid-tier API experience in a modern framework (Python Flask/FastAPI, Java Spring Boot, or node.js) is a plus (nice to have).
UX design and wireframing experience using tools like Figma or equivalent (nice to have).
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $119,500 -$145,100.
