Solution Architect

Locations: Bellevue, WA or Atlanta, GA or Dallas, Texas.

Role Overview

Leads end-to-end solution design and technical strategy for implementation of prioritized product capabilities or features. As a fully engaged technical execution lead, the Solution Architect plans the architectural runway for a full solution. They define, communicate, and support a continuous delivery pipeline and foster a built-in-quality mindset for the entire solution.

Responsibilities

• Creates a shared and aligned architectural vision and end-to-end design to meet the objectives.
• Collaborates with impacted platforms to ensure an aligned solution approach.
• Provides options to achieve iterative delivery across a reusable architectural framework.
• Oversees the outcomes of architectural delivery and contributes to acceptance.
• Aligns solutions to enterprise architecture strategies and objectives.
• Participates in all planning and progress-related ceremonies for the solutions.
• Develops a high-level architecture (HLA) and technical specifications.
• Ensures scalability, reliability, and performance of the overall solution.
• Addresses data protection, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements.

Collaboration

This role works closely with:

• Product Business Owner for feasibility of requested initiatives and capabilities.
• Product Tech Driver and impacted technology teams to share HLA and technical specifications.
• Tech product owners to develop technical enablers and supporting artifacts.
• Architects from other portfolios/products or platforms to align on design for dependencies.
• Developers to provide technical and solution guidance, and to verify features are implemented as designed.
• Architecture Review Board to ensure adherence to organizational technical strategy.

Systems & Tools

• Visio or BizzDesign for creation of design artifacts (HLA, HLSD).
• JIRA for adding NFRs, feature refinement, and High-Level Designs.
• Additional tools as needed.
